Getting Closer...
Preparations continue aboard and around Nell. The hull has been polished by Estuary Vessel Management, and they have polished the propellers and anti-fouled below the waterline. SCOTLAND BECKONS....
Nell and her crew! ...but before we head-off, there is a lot of preparation to do. Nell is currently out of the water at Ipswich Beacon Marina. Underwater works , including anti-fouling, new anodes, and propeller polishing is taking place. In the meantime, the crew are working out what can be removed from the boat and what needs to go on board. The planned journey will start in Ipswich, on the easter weekend.
