The crew of Nell are pleased to be raising awareness and funds for Volunteer Action, in Oundle. We are trying to raise £10,000 for this wonderful charity that supports the elderly and disabled, within our rural community. You can donate here.
Volunteer Action aims to maintain the independence and improve the quality of life for people aged 65 and over and those registered disabled within the East North Northamptonshire community. The Charity offers a Community Car Scheme, Befriending Schemes, Social Activities and other Services tailored to residents’ needs, helping these individuals to live more independently and with a better quality of life.
Nell will be carrying the Volunteer Action mascot aboard, for the entire trip from Ipswich to Shetland. Look out for the photographs and videos on our social media posts to see where the mascot gets to.
